Blissbook and GDPR

Hello there! Blissbook has updated its Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, effective May 28, 2018.

Although privacy and the safeguarding of your and your employees’ personal information has been and always will be important to us, these changes were made due to the EU’s new data privacy regulations, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Here’s a summary of changes:

  • Our privacy policy is now structured to serve three different audiences: Our business customers, their employees, and visitors to our web site. This policy also informs these audiences how to exercise their rights under the GDPR and control the use of their personal information through Blissbook.
  • If you, or your use of Blissbook, are subject to EU data protection law (including the GDPR), we’ve updated your obligations when using Blissbook to reflect the new regulations. Check out our updated Terms of Use, which includes a link to our Data Processing Addendum.

We encourage you to take the time to review these updated documents.

In addition to these updates, we’ve also done a comprehensive analysis of the processes and systems used by Blissbook to ensure that:

  1. Your and your employees’ personal information remains safe and secure on our platform.
  2. Personal information can be extracted when and where applicable.
  3. Personal information is not unnecessarily stored or saved.
  4. GDPR guidelines are incorporated into our regular and ongoing practices.

By continuing to use Blissbook on or after May 28, 2018, you acknowledge our updated Privacy Policy and agree to our updated Terms of Use.

As Blissbook grows, privacy and security practices will continue to be an important part of our platform, for everyone who experiences it.

If you have any questions, please contact us.

Thank you for using Blissbook!
